Numerologists greatly attribute their findings and knowledge of numbers to Bible. This biblical connotation attached with numerology, happens to be inseparable. That's why Biblical numerology holds an important place in this mysterious as well as mystic world of numbers.

Numerology is an age old stream that has not spared even a single sphere of our life. This unique stream of numbers has extracted relevant numerological facts from religious testaments. Yes, numerologists greatly attribute their findings and knowledge of numbers to Bible. This biblical connotation attached with numerology, happens to be inseparable. That's why Biblical numerology holds an important place in this mysterious as well as mystic world of numbers.

There are numbers that have been often repeated in Bible and are attached to important religious incidents. Because of their religious importance, these numbers are considered very important and numerologists have assigned special meanings to these numbers.

For example, biblical numerology lays special stress on importance of number 3. The number is said to be a symbolic expression of a good number of biblical facts. This biblical number represents the trilogy of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It also reflects three universal traits, matter, space and time. Number 3 is also an indicator of three human conditions soul, spirit and body. Some biblical numerologists often term 3 as a divine number.

In Bible Jesus Christ has been shown into three different shades of his character as a shepherd. He is termed as good shepherd when he speaks of his death. When he glorifies his worth, he is adjudged a chief shepherd. He becomes great shepherd once he divulges about his resurrection. Even the Almighty as father of the Christ addresses his son and believers thrice.

There is a good number of people who strongly believe in piousness of numbers suggested by Bible. This ensures that Biblical numerology is not going to fade away and it would remain woven to the mainstream of the society.

The basic numerology numbers (from 1 to 9) have been assigned certain characteristics based on biblical findings. Number three has been already discussed in details. Some other numbers could be briefly related with their respective numerological importance, as:

1: Number 1 reflects the beginning. It is also a symbolic expression for God.

2: Number 2 gives an insight into all biblically relevant opposite pairs. For example, heal and heaven, female and male.

4: Number 4 is considered as a sacred number and happens to be an indicator of creation and death.

5: Number 5 is biblically important as it shows graceful gestures. It is somewhat also related to nobleness of soul.

6: Number 6 is the number of balance and harmony.

7: Number 7 is considered as the number of rest. It is an important number.
